How to Respond
Your responses are critical in making sure your issues and concerns are heard.
A key issue facing residents is the combined impact of 4 major development sites being considered separately, therefore we recommend the community respond to all Pease Pottage and Handcross sites together. We will also be requesting the Planning Inspector to consider the 3 Pease Pottage sites as 1 strategic development to address the separate insufficient infrastructure and testing.
The deadline for responses is Monday 7th September, 23:59.
If you would prefer to discuss your response with a member of the steering group, contact us directly or attend our next community drop-in session - see the News & Events for details.
Alternatively you can make a response and see all published evidence on the Mid Sussex District Council planning portal here.

These four housing sites are only part of the story. MSDC is also proposing changes to the policies that decide how wildlife is protected,
how traffic is managed, where housing goes, when infrastructure must be delivered, and whether enough water and wastewater capacity exists.
If the four sites remain in the Plan, these policies will determine how well — or badly — their impacts are controlled.
