Strategy for success
Volunteers will be appointed in a democratic process to deliver the following group strategy:
Take a coordinated, structured approach, ensuring our group will remain credible with councils, Inspectors, and residents.
Ensuring communication with councils and Inspectors is successful through one organised voice.
Conduct the group as to preventing Developers exploiting fragmentation, public discussion and misinformation.
Maintain local identity, transparency and oversight while strengthening strategic influence.

Specialist Teams
Evidence & Technical Team
2–3 people with skills and experience in law, planning policy and coordinating with external specialists.
Communications & Engagement Team
Manage the mailing list, produce clear resident updates, draft Q&A sheets and myth‑busting articles, coordinate messaging across both villages and prevent misinformation spirals on social media.

Village Sub-Groups
Handle village‑specific issues while feeding concerns and evidence up to the Steering Group.
Localised impacts (traffic, utilities, school, health).
Resident engagement & social media groups.

Lead Steering Group
Shared messaging and strategy.
Coordinate responses to Council consultations
Oversee/manage evidence gathering.
Resource communications and public updates.
Represent community at surgery days, meetings, and hearings.
